Kyle & I both had Friday off so we got to the lake fairly early. Found a spot, got set up & kind of spread out a little so we had room for the boat, toys & parking. Since we were the only one there we had a nice quiet afternoon. We did have a small sand storm for about an hour.... thank goodness it didn't last long.
Adam, Monica, Paul, Tracy & boys didn't get to head down until after work. They all met in San Antonio & ate at the Owl Cafe. They got to our camp about 9:30. Set around the campfire for awhile. Adam & Monica wanted to stay at the Stagner's house, so Zach & Dylan slept in the tent we brought.
Saturday we got up & fixed breakfast for the boys & us. The rest of the bunch came over & brought the boat & all the toys. Hung all day, played on the boat with the tubes. We saw 2 people walking down the hill toward our camp hauling a cooler & a few bags .... Tracy noticed it was Kelly & JoLee. They never told us they were coming ... what a nice surprise !! They hung out with us all day, but didn't stay the night. The boys stayed in the tent at our camp again.
When we got up the next morning the boys were already fishing. Made breakfast & waited for the rest of the group to come over. Zach & Dylan got bored so Dylan wanted to be buried, he got buried pretty good. Took awhile to get him out, he was like wedged. Played on the tubes again. Left the lake kind of late but beat the storm. We left right when it was hitting. Fun was had by all .... some of us learned that we aren't as young as we used to be ..... riding the tubes hurt us !!!
